Denisoni Barb is supplied under the older name Puntius denisonii; the current institutional name is Dawkinsia denisonii, also widely known as Sahyadria denisonii. It is native to southern India and has a bright red front stripe above a dark lateral stripe. True denisonii lacks the dorsal-fin black marking of the similar chalakkudiensis. This offer is tank bred and graded 5 cm.
Keep a group of at least six to ten in spacious, mature accommodation with clean, oxygenated water and moderate movement. Specialist guidance gives 15-25 C and pH 6.5-7.8. Provide varied prepared foods with small live or frozen supplements. Confirm the lot's holding water and allow for adult growth beyond its 5 cm sale grade.
