Odessa Barb is the accepted species Pethia padamya, described from Myanmar. The catalogue spells it Pethia padamy; the accepted name is Pethia padamya. Adult males develop a red-orange flank band, while females are usually plainer. This tank-bred offer is graded 2-2.5 cm; adult colour and sex are not promised by that size.
Maintain a peaceful shoal of eight to ten or more. Specialist aquarium guidance gives 16-25 C and pH 6.5-8.5. Provide planted cover and swimming room, prepared foods with plant content and small live or frozen supplements.
