Classic Halfmoon is the supplier's ornamental fin-form offer at 5-6 cm. Published breed descriptions associate Halfmoon with a broad semicircular tail display; that reference does not guarantee an individual fish's exact fin angle, colour pattern or adult proportions. It remains separate from Avatar Halfmoon and Rosetail-Halfmoon. The catalogue records Betta splendens for this ornamental line; its commercial name does not certify pure-species ancestry or a breeder pedigree.

Commercial betta guidance recommends 20-28 C and pH 6-8 in soft-to-medium water (4-12 dGH). Provide a filtered aquarium with gentle current, plant cover and access to air above the water. Keep males apart; choose any companions cautiously and avoid rough ornaments. Match acclimation to measured lot conditions. Feed appropriate betta foods with suitably small live or frozen supplements, and monitor feeding and fin condition.
