The 3-inch and 4-inch tank-bred options retain different prices and packing capacities. The Red Melon label does not guarantee identical redness, selected sex or a certified founder pedigree across the fish. Both measurements remain literal inch grades.
OATA guidance for commercial discus gives 26-30 C and pH 6.0-7.5 in soft to medium water. Keep a social group of at least five unless it is an established breeding pair. Provide mature filtered accommodation with shade, cover and open swimming room; maintain stable clean water and verify that subordinate fish feed. Offer suitably sized prepared discus food and varied accepted live or frozen items, confirming the breeder conditions before transfer.
