The accepted genus is Tateurndina; the supplier Tateurundina spelling refers to the same listed peacock gudgeon. Mature males can develop a noticeable forehead hump, but the wild 4 cm offer does not specify selected sex or an established pair. Exact capture locality is not supplied.
Species reference guidance gives 22-26 C and pH 6.5-7.5. Provide plant cover and accessible caves, offer small live or frozen foods and monitor food access. Choose peaceful small companions; allow shelter and space for territorial displays within a group.
