Pandaka rouxi is recorded from mangrove shores and brackish lakes, with freshwater records also recognised. The nominal tail-base pattern includes a dark central spot beside lighter yellow marks. This wild 1-2 cm supplier grade does not guarantee selected sex, mature coloration or an exact collecting locality.
Confirm the measured holding salinity and water chemistry, along with foods small enough for the actual fish to accept. Prepare mature filtered receiving accommodation with accessible refuge and monitor each fish feeding. Do not impose a permanent freshwater regime or numerical salt dose from the small size or catalogue placement.
