In terms of compatibility, Chilli Scarlet Endlers are peaceful fish and can coexist with many other community species. However, avoid aggressive tankmates that may stress them. Acclimation should be performed slowly to reduce the risk of shock; introducing them to the new environment gradually over a few hours is recommended.

Chilli Scarlet Endlers are suitable for shipping due to their hardiness. They should be packed in secure bags with adequate oxygen and water to minimize stress. Ideal shipping temperatures range from 24°C to 28°C. Maintain a packing density of no more than 10 fish per liter to ensure their comfort during transit. This species is not listed under CITES, which simplifies export regulations.
