Feeding should consist of a balanced diet that includes high-quality flake food, frozen or live foods like brine shrimp and daphnia, and occasional vegetable matter. This omnivorous diet supports their bright coloration and overall health. Guppies are compatible with many other peaceful species; however, aggressive fish should be avoided to prevent stress and injury.

Acclimation is essential when introducing them to a new tank. It is recommended to use the drip acclimation method to gradually familiarize them with the new water conditions.
