Poecilia wingei, commonly referred to as Orchid Endlers, is a captivating freshwater fish native to the Paria Peninsula in Venezuela. These small, colorful fish are known for their remarkable breeding capabilities and are often found hybridizing with guppies. Feeding Orchid Endlers is straightforward as they are omnivores. A varied diet of high-quality flake food, live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and daphnia, and plant matter will ensure they receive all necessary nutrients. It’s essential to avoid overfeeding, which can lead to health issues.

When introducing Orchid Endlers to a new environment, acclimation is crucial. Gradually introduce them to the aquarium over a few hours to allow them to adjust to the water parameters.
