Reference Gastromyzon ocellatus have a dark brown body with cream bars that form eye-like markings along the sides, and red colour in the tail. The species is associated with the Sarawak River drainage of Malaysian Borneo. Its pattern varies among specimens; the 3-5 cm offer is a shipping grade rather than an adult maximum or sex selection.
Species reference guidance recommends 20-24 C, pH 6.0-7.5 and 1-12 dGH. Prepare a mature, well-filtered aquarium with strong oxygenation and water movement, smooth rocks and established grazing surfaces. Offer suitable supplementary foods and check actual feeding before transfer. Provide a secure cover, multiple feeding areas and companions that tolerate the same flow without outcompeting the loaches. A group of at least four can show natural social behaviour when sufficient grazing space is available.
MBI-LOA-020 (3 cm - 5 cm): 50 fish per bag; maximum 8 bags per box.
MBI-LOA-020: minimum 100 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
