The supplier name Hemigrammus caudovittatus is a historical synonym of the Buenos Aires Tetra, currently accepted as Psalidodon anisitsi. Its native range includes the Paraná and Uruguay river basins; the catalogue identifies the offered fish as tank bred.

This is a vigorous group fish. A published reference maximum is 6 cm standard length, measured to the base of the tail; the 2.5–2.7 cm trade grade describes the fish supplied. Its energetic behaviour makes companion selection more important than a generic community label.
Provide generous swimming space and maintain a group of at least 8–10. Avoid timid, slow or long-finned companions because fin-nipping can occur. Offer varied small prepared and live or frozen foods, including plant content. Specialist guidance gives 16–28°C and pH 5.5–8.5, with prolonged temperatures near the upper limit discouraged. Match changes to the batch holding conditions.
MBI-TET-032: 2.5 cm - 2.7 cm, 100 fish per bag, minimum 100 fish and up to 8 bags per box.
Use MBI-TET-032 when requesting this tank-bred offer. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms apply.
