Origin
Native region: mainland and insular Southeast Asia; offer: wild caught
Diet
carnivore
This elongated species lives near the surface of flowing waters, including river channels and low-gradient tributaries. FishBase records a series of flank spots that may join into a stripe, with dark markings continuing toward the tail. It feeds mainly on fish.

Published size reaches 26 cm standard length, measured without the tail fin. Its predatory feeding and potential size matter when choosing companions; it should not be treated as a small peaceful aquarium barb simply because of its catalogue grouping.
Use a stable freshwater system with swimming room, suitable water movement and a secure cover. Confirm actual lengths, holding-water values and currently accepted feed before arrival. FishBase’s mainly fish-based natural diet supports a carnivorous classification; smaller fish require protection from predation. Monitor feeding before mixing with robust suitably sized companions. Numerical aquarium limits remain unverified.
MBI-BAR-032 (All Size): 10 fish per bag; maximum 8 bags per box.
MBI-BAR-032: minimum 50 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
