The supplier temmincki name is retained for this aquarium line. Common captive bristlenose strains are often sold under temminckii without traceable wild ancestry. Mature male snout tentacles are a reference feature, not evidence that this 3-4 cm lot is sex-selected. Breeder population and pedigree are unspecified.
Commercial aquarium-strain reference guidance gives 20-28 C and pH 6-8.5. Provide suitable caves, oxygenated filtered water and monitor access to the breeder-established foods. Confirm the holding regimen for this lot before transfer.
