This freshwater rasborine is native to Malaya, Singapore, Sumatra, Bangka and Kalimantan. It is associated with forest peat-swamp waters and shaded streams. Colour can vary between collection localities, so the catalogue name does not guarantee a particular red stripe or fin intensity.
Use a mature, shaded aquarium with shelter and keep at least eight to ten together. Specialist guidance gives 21-26 C. Provide small prepared foods with live or frozen items. Avoid boisterous feeding competitors and obtain the current holding-water chemistry before changing conditions.
MBI-RAS-016 (2.5 cm - 3 cm): 100 fish per bag, maximum 8 bags per box. These are the supplier catalogue packing figures for this offer.
Order minimum: MBI-RAS-016: 300 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
