Silver Tip Tetra

Hasemania nana is associated with the Sao Francisco basin of Brazil, where species accounts describe creeks and tributaries away from the principal river channel. Unlike many familiar tetras, it lacks an adipose fin. The common name Silvertip Tetra identifies this species; its Brazilian native distribution is separate from the breeding origin of the offered animals.
