Feeding these clownfish is relatively straightforward, as they are omnivorous. A varied diet consisting of high-quality flake food, frozen or live brine shrimp, and finely chopped seafood will keep them healthy and vibrant. It's important to feed them several small meals throughout the day rather than one large meal to mimic their natural feeding habits.

In terms of compatibility, Gold Striped Maroons are best kept with other semi-aggressive fish, but caution should be exercised when introducing them to new tank mates, as they can display territorial behavior. Acclimation should be done gradually to reduce stress, and it is advisable to quarantine new arrivals for at least two weeks before adding them to the main tank to prevent the spread of disease. It is recommended to use insulated boxes with adequate oxygen supply and a temperature range of 22-26°C during transit. The recommended packing density is 1 fish per 5 liters of water to ensure adequate space for movement. As they are not listed under CITES, there are no restrictions on their export, making them an excellent choice for wholesalers.
