Feeding these blennies is straightforward, as they are primarily herbivorous. A varied diet consisting of high-quality algae-based foods, spirulina flakes, and occasional zooplankton will keep them healthy and vibrant. Compatibility-wise, they generally do well with peaceful species but may exhibit territorial behavior towards their own kind, so it is advisable to keep them in pairs or groups in larger tanks.

They should be packed in secure, breathable bags with adequate oxygen and water to minimize stress during transit. Optimal shipping temperatures should be maintained between 24°C and 28°C, as they are sensitive to temperature fluctuations.
