Golden identifies an ornamental colour selection of the tinfoil barb. It remains a large, active fish: published aquarium guidance records adults at 35.5 cm standard length, measured without the tail fin. The small sale grade should therefore be considered alongside long-term space needs.
This tank-bred golden offer is separate from the wild tinfoil listing. The supplier does not specify a sex ratio or a particular golden strain, so colour intensity and mature appearance are not fixed characteristics of every juvenile.

Plan a very large aquarium with open swimming space, strong filtration and oxygenation, and a securely fitted cover. Keep at least six together. Specialist reference conditions are 20–28°C and pH 6.0–8.0; confirm the current holding water before acclimation. Feed varied prepared, live or frozen foods with vegetable material. Choose robust companions too large to swallow; small fish and timid feeders are unsuitable.
MBI-BAR-005 (3 cm - 4 cm): 40 fish per bag; maximum 8 bags per box.
MBI-BAR-005: minimum 40 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
