Eupterus is the accepted name in the current taxonomic catalogue. Reference juveniles can show a network pattern; adult spotting and the feathered dorsal develop with age. The tank-bred 2.5-3 cm grade is not an adult-size ceiling or a guarantee of developed dorsal extensions. Sex composition and breeder population are unspecified.
Species reference guidance gives 22-27 C and pH 6.0-7.5. Provide soft substrate, wood or rock refuges and floating shade in mature filtered housing with ample adult floor space. Give each fish its own refuge because territorial behaviour can increase with age. Offer varied sinking foods and avoid edible small companions.
MBI-CAT-062 (2.5 cm - 3 cm): 50 fish per bag; maximum 8 bags per box.
Order minimum: MBI-CAT-062: 50 individual fish. Price is per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
