Southern New Guinea and northern Australia; exact collecting station unspecified.
Reference graeffei have a stout dusky-grey body, sometimes with a bluish tinge, a rounded snout and a relatively small eye. The species occurs in southern New Guinea and northern Australia, including freshwater and estuarine environments. Papua is the supplier designation, not a verified collecting station; the 8-10 cm offer is not an adult-size ceiling.
Obtain measured holding salinity, temperature, water chemistry and accepted foods before receiving. Prepare mature filtered housing with generous adult swimming space and accessible feed appropriate to the verified fish. The natural range includes freshwater and estuaries, so do not add salt or change salinity solely from the sea-catfish family name. Take care around the strong serrated fin spines.
MBI-CAT-039 (8 cm - 10 cm): 1 fish per bag; maximum 40 bags per box.
