Calvus reference fish have a narrow compressed profile and a scaleless area between the eyes, with shape adapted to searching rocky gaps. Black is a recognised colour-form designation, but this tank-bred 2.5 cm lot does not certify a Congo collecting station, mature darkness or selected sex.
For confirmed calvus stock, guidance gives 24-27 C and pH 7.5-9.0 in hard water. Arrange secure rock caves, sheltered retreats and subdued light, avoiding abrupt changes in water chemistry. Offer suitably sized live or frozen foods and verify any dry-food acceptance. Small fish, eggs and fry can be prey; avoid very aggressive or vigorous companions and mixing locality forms when breeding.
MBI-CIC-001 (2.5 cm): 1 fish per bag; maximum 200 bags per box.
Order minimum: MBI-CIC-001: 20 individual fish. Price is per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
