Reference young duboisi have pale spots on a dark body. Adults become blue-black with a white or yellow vertical band. The 3 cm, 5 cm and 6 cm tank-bred options leave geographic morph and sex composition unspecified; grade alone does not guarantee a particular stage of colour change.
For confirmed duboisi, guidance gives 23-27 C and pH 8.0-9.5 in hard water. Provide ample adult space, oxygenated mature water, sand and refuges. Use a vegetable-based feeding regimen and plan group compatibility carefully; established colonies may reject additions. Confirm breeder conditions before transfer.
