OB names the intended blotched selection rather than a formally described species. Original commercial accounts describe numerous lines and differences between individual fish. This literal 2-inch offer does not guarantee fixed blotch positions, an orange background, selected sex or a certified parentage.
Confirm the measured holding water used by the breeder, accepted foods and adult group requirements. Use mature filtered housing with fine feeding substrate, rocky cover and territory boundaries. Watch rivals and subordinate feeding, and keep maintained breeder lines separate.
