Males can defend retreats under overhangs and adopt vertical or upside-down positions near rock walls. Bright exposed housing and boisterous companions are unsuitable for its best condition. Larger eyes and a stockier outline help distinguish the reference species from brieni. The supplied fish are not guaranteed males or fully coloured adults.
Guidance gives 24-27 C and pH 7.5-9.0 in hard water. Maintain a shoal of at least eight with mature filtered water, subdued light, tall rocky overhangs and swimming room above. Choose calm companions and offer appropriately small varied accepted foods. Confirm breeder water and preserve colour-population identity when breeding.
MBI-CIC-049 (9 cm): 1 fish per bag; maximum 40 bags per box.
MBI-CIC-049: minimum 10 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
