Barbatus belongs to Scleromystax rather than Corydoras. The reference male has facial bristles and a pale gold or white forehead stripe, but Golden does not guarantee a male-only lot or an identical mature colour. The 2.5 cm supplier grade is separate from adult size; sex composition and breeding lineage are unspecified.
For verified ordinary barbatus stock, specialist guidance gives 16-24 C and pH 5.5-7.5. Provide clean sand or smooth clean gravel, cover and adequate adult floor space. Avoid crowding rival mature males in small aquaria. Offer varied sinking prepared and small live or frozen foods, rather than relying on leftovers. Confirm the breeder holding regimen for this selection.
MBI-CAT-012 (2.5 cm): 50 fish per bag; maximum 8 bags per box.
Order minimum: MBI-CAT-012: 50 individual fish. Price is per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
