The San Merah name distinguishes this tank-bred selection within the discus assortment. Its literal 3-inch grade is separate from adult size. No current breeder pedigree, precise mature red distribution or selected sex is certified by the name alone.
OATA guidance for commercial discus gives 26-30 C and pH 6.0-7.5 in soft to medium water. Confirm the breeder holding conditions, maintain clean stable mature water and provide shaded cover with swimming room. Keep at least five, except an established breeding pair. Feed suitably sized prepared discus foods with varied accepted live or frozen items; check that subordinate fish eat.
