The aquarium should be spacious, with a minimum size of 200 liters to accommodate their social nature and swimming needs.

Feeding is vital for the health of Turquoise Discus. They are omnivores and thrive on a varied diet that includes high-quality pellets, frozen or live foods such as bloodworms and brine shrimp, and vegetable matter like spirulina. Regular feeding schedules should be established to promote healthy growth and coloration.

When introducing new fish to a tank, acclimation is crucial. Gradually acclimatize the Turquoise Discus to the new environment using the drip acclimation method to minimize stress.
