They thrive in temperatures ranging from 20°C to 26°C and prefer a pH level between 6.5 and 8.0. A minimum tank size of 20 liters is recommended to provide ample space for swimming and foraging.

Feeding Yellow Rili Shrimp is relatively straightforward, as they are omnivorous. A varied diet consisting of high-quality shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables, and algae wafers will promote their health and color vibrancy. It is essential to avoid overfeeding, as uneaten food can lead to water quality issues.

When introducing Yellow Rili Shrimp to a new aquarium, acclimation is crucial. Gradually introduce them to the tank environment over a period of several hours to minimize stress. They are peaceful and can be housed with many community fish; however, avoid aggressive species that may pose a threat. A packing density of 10-15 shrimp per liter is recommended to minimize stress. These shrimp are temperature sensitive, so maintaining a stable environment during shipping is critical.
