Current taxonomy accepts Tylomelania gemmifera, correcting the supplier gemmifer spelling. The primary Matano account describes a high-spired brown or black shell and yellow headfoot markings, tentacle stripes and snout. All Size gives no measured shell or whole-animal length, selected sex or exact collecting station.
Confirm the measured water conditions used by the supplier and established foods for the actual rabbit-snail lot. Prepare mature filtered aquatic accommodation with accessible feeding and resting substrate, and monitor that each snail feeds. Avoid copper exposure and snail predators.
