Origin
Reference species: Lake Matano, Sulawesi, Indonesia; actual collecting shoreline unspecified.
The nominal species has broad irregular dark bands mixed with spots. Field observations place it among pebbles, rocks and root cover at Lake Matano, with empty shells providing retreats. This wild-caught 2 cm grade leaves collecting shoreline and sex composition unspecified; the Tiger name is not a uniform-pattern promise.
Confirm measured holding water, established foods and adult housing needs with the supplier. Prepare mature filtered accommodation with clean resting areas and accessible refuges, and monitor each fish feeding. A freshwater lake record does not establish a numerical aquarium temperature, pH or stocking limit.
