Origin
Reference species: Lakes Mahalona and Towuti, Sulawesi; lot collecting site unspecified.
Mugilogobius rexi is recorded from Lakes Mahalona and Towuti. The reference male has enlarged marked fins and can be territorial; females are greyer or brown with clearer, shorter fins. It also swims above the bottom, so the Goldenmalili name is not a promise that every wild 3-4 cm fish will arrive yellow or male.
Allow sheltered bottom refuges and unobstructed swimming space, and monitor interactions and individual feeding. Confirm the supplier-established temperature, water chemistry and foods for this lot. Natural lake measurements are not used here as aquarium target limits.
MBI-GOB-027 (3 cm - 4 cm): 1 fish per bag; maximum 400 bags per box.
MBI-GOB-027: minimum 100 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
