Palawanirufus is the accepted spelling of the species described in 2021; palawanifurus is the supplier spelling. The study found that similar female appearances do not establish the same species. This wild-caught 3-4 cm lot leaves sex composition, precise collecting locality and mature display colour unspecified.
Obtain measured holding temperature, water chemistry and established foods from the supplier before transfer. Prepare mature filtered housing with secure rocky resting places and circulation suited to the confirmed stream stock. Monitor individual food intake.
