Dwarf Saddle Back Loach

Dwarf Saddle Back is offered as Neohomaloptera sp., without a confirmed named species. The two supplier codes describe separate 2 cm and 2-3 cm offers. Although johorensis is the named species commonly associated with this genus, a reported Sumatran form differs in body colour and nasal-barbel length. The provisional label therefore does not certify johorensis or its locality.

Confirm the exact stock, measured holding water and accepted foods before transfer. Provide mature filtered accommodation and suitable sheltered resting areas. Do not assume that a small loach requires a torrent-style tank: the named johorensis reference occurs in still peat-swamp waters, and the offered sp. has no confirmed numerical care range.
