Hasselt's Loach is a burrowing bottom-dweller from shallow, slow waters. Typical reference fish have a dark side stripe or row of adjacent blotches, with a conspicuous dark mark near the caudal-fin base. It needs soft substrate that allows natural sifting and burial. This wild-caught All Size offer specifies no numerical size range or selected sex.
Species reference guidance gives 23-26 C and pH 5.5-7.5. Use mature filtered water with adequate oxygen, gentle flow, soft sand and sheltered areas; protect filter intakes and secure the lid. Keep at least four conspecifics and provide varied small sinking, live or frozen foods. Verify measured holding water and accepted feeds before transfer.
