Monticola Marudu is retained as Gastromyzon sp. monticola, a provisional supplier offer. The named species monticola is documented from northern Sabah rivers draining Mount Kinabalu, including the Marudu area, but a sp. label does not certify the nominal species or an exact collecting stream. Wild-caught All Size fish are offered without a selected sex or numerical size interval.
Prepare mature filtered accommodation for the offered hillstream-loach group with high dissolved oxygen, suitable current and smooth rock refuges. Confirm measured holding water, accepted foods and adult group-space needs with the supplier. Maintain suitable feeding surfaces; an unnamed form does not inherit a named species's numerical care range.
