Export Size
3.00 – 5.00 cm
Origin
Kapuas drainage, western Kalimantan, Borneo; actual offered site unspecified.
The reference species has irregular dark bars or saddle-like marks and spotting on the head, differing from the more regular wide bars of K. falaris. Current classification places it in Kapuasia. The 3-5 cm size is the offered shipping grade, not a confirmed adult maximum or sex selection. Its exact collecting site and colour at delivery are unspecified.
Use a mature aquarium with clean, well-oxygenated water, secure cover and several sheltered resting places. Confirm the supplier holding water and feeding response before transfer, and provide food where bottom-dwelling fish can reach it without competition. Provide sheltered bottom areas and request the supplier established feeding and water regimen. Do not assume that the published captive dietary observations of K. falaris establish the diet of K. maculiceps. Exact species numerical aquarium limits remain unspecified rather than copied from another loach.
MBI-LOA-042 (3 cm - 5 cm): 50 fish per bag; maximum 8 bags per box.
MBI-LOA-042: minimum 100 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
