Blue eye / norman's lampeye

The currently used scientific combination is Poropanchax normani; Aplocheilichthys normani is an older name for the same species. Its natural distribution spans several African river systems. Species accounts describe vegetated stretches of small rivers, brooks and swamps, and identify it as a nonseasonal killifish. The African native range does not identify the breeding site of the offered stock.

A species reference lists 22-26 C and pH 6.5-7.2. Confirm the batch's holding conditions and food already accepted, particularly for the smaller 1.8-2.0 cm option. Use the offered size when selecting food particle size; the reference maximum is 4.5 cm total length, distinct from the catalogue grades.
