The supplier lists Garra panda, the trade designation for Garra flavatra. Its grazing habit does not make it an exclusive algae eater: varied animal and plant foods remain useful. The tank-bred 3 cm offer is a shipping grade, well below the published 9 cm standard-length reference; individual colour intensity is not guaranteed.
Reference guidance is 22-27 C and pH 6.5-7.5. Provide a mature, well-oxygenated aquarium with water movement, grazing rocks and a secure cover; it can climb glass. Supplement biofilm with suitable sinking foods and small live or frozen items. Give adequate space and refuges for the group hierarchy.
