Neon blue platy

Neon Blue Platy is the supplier's named tank-bred colour selection. It is separately coded from Neon Blue Wagtail Platy, which carries an additional fin-pattern label. Neon does not document a lighting effect, pigment mechanism or uniform mature colour intensity. The source catalogue records Xiphophorus maculatus. Ornamental Xiphophorus lines have a documented interspecific breeding history, but it does not establish the pedigree of this lot.

Commercial platy guidance gives 17-27 C and pH 7-8, with soft-to-medium water (4-12 dGH). Provide mature filtration, shelter and swimming space. Offer appropriate plant-containing foods with small supplements and match transfer to measured lot water. Plan breeding separation where sex composition requires it.
