The supplier 172A code is used for this tank-bred heterodon offer. Reference fish have an upper lip fringe, a pointed head and prominent dark spots, especially on the head. The 3 cm Body Only grade does not establish total or adult length, selected sex or a guaranteed gold intensity.
Species keeper guidance gives 25-30 C and pH 6.0-7.2. Supply strong filtration, oxygenation, regular water changes and wood or rock refuges. Allow adequate territory for each fish and select companions that do not compete for its bottom space. Offer appropriate sinking tablets and small frozen foods; sharp teeth can damage furnishings, plants or other fish.
