Origin
Native range: Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and western Kalimantan; offer: wild caught
Leuciscus bankanensis is the original combination of the species currently accepted as Rasbora bankanensis. Its documented range includes Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and western Kalimantan, with the original type locality on Bangka Island.

It inhabits freshwater forest streams, including peat-associated margins. FishBase notes that the named species may encompass a complex, so no precise population identity is claimed for this unspecified wild collection. A published reference maximum is 6 cm standard length, excluding the tail.
Request the supplier’s measured holding temperature, pH and current accepted feed before receiving this wild-caught batch. Prepare a stable freshwater system and base acclimation on those measurements. Observe feeding and social behaviour before mixing it with established stock. Exact-species numerical aquarium guidance has not been verified here, so values from other Rasbora species are not substituted.
MBI-RAS-007: 2 cm - 4 cm, 50 fish per bag and up to 8 bags per box.
MBI-RAS-007 minimum: 300 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms apply.
