Origin
Current species range: Bintan Island, Indonesia; offer: wild caught
Current taxonomy restricts Sundadanio axelrodi to Bintan Island in Indonesia. The 2011 revision separated several previously confused Sundadanio populations into distinct species. Mature males have a blue to emerald sheen depending on light angle; Blue Neon alone is insufficient to identify every fish sold under older names.
This offer is separate from the Red Neon Borneo listing. The supplier has not supplied a collection locality.

Request the precise collection locality, holding-water temperature and pH, and currently accepted feed for this wild batch. Prepare a stable system suited to its peat-swamp origin and use measured holding conditions for acclimation. Older aquarium articles treated several Sundadanio species as one; their numerical care ranges are not assigned here as verified exact-species requirements.
