Maintaining a pH between 7.8 and 8.4 ensures optimal health. A minimum tank size of 100 liters is recommended to provide adequate space for swimming and hiding, as well as to maintain stable water conditions.

Feeding the Two Spot Goby requires a varied diet that includes high-quality frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. They may also accept high-quality flakes or pellets designed for marine fish. It's important to feed them small portions multiple times a day to mimic their natural foraging behavior.

In terms of compatibility, the Two Spot Goby is a peaceful species that can be kept with other small, non-aggressive fish. They do well in community tanks, provided that there is enough space and hiding spots available. Acclimation should be done slowly to minimize stress; floating the bag in the aquarium for about 15-20 minutes before introducing them is advisable. Ideal packing should include adequate water and air space to minimize stress. Temperature sensitivity is a factor, so maintaining a stable temperature between 24°C and 28°C during shipping is important. As of now, this species is not listed under CITES, simplifying export procedures.
