Providing a minimum tank size of 100 liters is advised, as larger volumes allow for better water quality and stability.

Feeding the Fragile Cardinalfish is relatively simple, as they are omnivorous. A varied diet consisting of high-quality flake food, frozen or live brine shrimp, and finely chopped marine foods will help maintain their health and vibrancy. It is essential to feed them multiple times a day in small amounts to simulate their natural foraging behavior.

The Fragile Cardinalfish is suitable for shipping due to its resilient nature, but care must be taken to maintain stable temperatures during transit, ideally between 24°C and 28°C. Packing density should not exceed 10-15 individuals per liter of water to minimize stress. They are not listed under CITES, which simplifies the export process.
