Feeding the Rose Devilfish requires a varied diet rich in protein, including live and frozen foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and other small marine invertebrates. It is important to feed them multiple times a day in small portions to encourage natural hunting behavior. Compatibility with other species can be tricky, as they may exhibit territorial behaviors; therefore, introducing them to a well-established aquarium with plenty of hiding spots is crucial.

The Rose Devilfish is suitable for shipping, but care must be taken to ensure their well-being during transit. Packing density should be moderate, allowing sufficient space for movement to reduce stress. It is vital to maintain a stable temperature between 24°C and 28°C during shipping to prevent thermal shock.
