Feeding Panda Angels is straightforward, as they are omnivorous. A varied diet of high-quality flake food, frozen or live foods such as brine shrimp and bloodworms, along with vegetable matter like spirulina, will ensure their nutritional needs are met. Overfeeding should be avoided to maintain water quality.

In terms of compatibility, Panda Angels can coexist with other peaceful fish of similar size, but care should be taken with smaller species that may be viewed as prey. Acclimation to a new environment should be gradual to minimize stress; a drip acclimation method is recommended. It is also advisable to quarantine new arrivals for a minimum of two weeks to prevent the introduction of diseases into the main tank.

Use breathable bags with adequate oxygen and ensure that the water temperature remains stable during transport. A packing density of 1 fish per 2 liters is recommended to ensure their wellbeing. These fish are sensitive to temperature fluctuations, so maintaining temperatures between 24°C to 28°C is essential throughout the shipping process.
