Caridina multidentata, commonly known as the Amano Shrimp, is a freshwater shrimp species native to Japan and Taiwan. In terms of compatibility, Amano Shrimp are peaceful and can be housed with various fish species, but avoid aggressive fish that may see them as food. Acclimation should be done slowly, introducing them to the tank over several hours to minimize stress.
