Boraras brigittae comes from Borneo, Indonesia, and is associated with shaded blackwater peat-swamp habitats. The dark lateral marking and red pigmentation help distinguish it from other small Boraras, although markings vary and some B. merah males are striped.

This catalogue entry retains the supplier’s brigittae identification. The actual collection site is unspecified.
Use a mature aquarium with shaded planting and gentle filtration. Maintain a group with other very small, peaceful fish; larger or boisterous companions can intimidate them. Specialist guidance gives 20–28°C and pH 4.0–7.0. Supply suitably tiny dry foods plus small live or frozen items. Match acclimation to the wild batch’s holding water.
MBI-RAS-001: 1.5 cm - 1.8 cm, 200 fish per bag and up to 8 bags per box.
MBI-RAS-001 minimum: 300 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms apply.
