The current institutional catalogue records this species on the Malay Peninsula, northern Sumatra and nearby Sumatran islands. A broad dark triangular mark on the rear body distinguishes the typical harlequin appearance from the finer marks of related T. hengeli and T. espei.

The supplier does not identify the collection locality or sex of this wild-caught offer. This is the ordinary-form listing; separately named colour selections are distinct offers.
Keep a group with small, peaceful companions in a stable planted aquarium. Specialist guidance gives 21–28°C and pH 5.0–7.5. Offer small dry foods alongside live or frozen items and observe that all fish feed. Cover and broken sightlines provide shelter. Ask for the current holding-water values before acclimating this wild-caught batch.
MBI-RAS-030 (2 cm - 2.2 cm): 100 fish per bag; maximum 8 bags per box.
MBI-RAS-030: minimum 100 individual fish. Prices are per individual fish. Existing quotation and business terms govern shipment arrangements.
