The recommended water parameters include a temperature range of 24-28°C, a salinity of 1.020-1.025 ppt, and a pH level between 8.1 and 8.4. Providing ample hiding spots, such as caves and rock formations, will help reduce stress and encourage natural behaviors.

Feeding the Bearded ghoul requires a varied diet, predominantly consisting of live or frozen food such as small fish, shrimp, and other marine invertebrates. Regular feeding is essential to maintain its health and vitality. Compatibility with other species should be approached cautiously; it is best kept with similarly sized, non-aggressive fish to prevent territorial disputes.

Acclimation should be performed gradually to minimize stress. It's advisable to use the drip acclimation method for at least 1-2 hours before introducing the fish into its new environment.
